Therapy can feel uncomfortable and it’s difficult to open up and be honest with ourselves. You don’t have to continue to live with these challenges. When you’re in an environment that’s free of judgement and genuine care you’ll soon realize that change is possible.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of clinical experience and have been working in the behavioral health field since 2005. I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and life challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and major life transitions. My work is grounded in creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly heard and understood. I believe healing begins when you feel safe enough to be honest about where you are. Welcome! I am the owner of Radical Renewal Counseling LLC. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming—especially if you’ve spent years feeling misunderstood, dismissed, or like you have to hide parts of yourself just to get through the day. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, addiction, neurodivergence (including ADHD and autism), and LGBTQIA+ related concerns. I proudly provide neurodivergent-affirming and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy, recognizing that many struggles come from living in environments that haven’t always been accepting, supportive, or accommodating.
Whether you’re navigating complex trauma, recovering from substance use, managing overwhelming emotions, questioning your identity, healing from unhealthy relationships, or simply feeling stuck, we will work together to help you build a life that feels more authentic and manageable.
I believe therapy should never feel like you’re being judged or expected to fit into someone else’s mold. Instead, we’ll build on your strengths while developing practical skills to regulate emotions, improve relationships, reduce distress, and create lasting change.
My approach integrates evidence-based therapies including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed therapy, psychodynamic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and parts work/IFS-informed interventions, tailoring treatment to your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.I am certified in DBT & trained in EMDR through EMDRIA.
I have 25 years of experience working in-patient and out-patient treatment. I have worked with individuals with general mood disorders and addiction. I also use group therapy to connect others with similar issues to enable connections that the clients may not otherwise have. I believe that my clients prefer the warm, comfortable style that I use.
