I believe that self-compassion and self-acceptance are essential for promoting growth and healing. My work with clients is informed by multiple therapeutic approaches grounded in psychodynamic, attachment, somatic, emotion-focused, and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients reconnect with themselves and heal at a core level. Hi! I'm Sharin, and welcome to Your Evolving Truth Therapies! Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming and I’m glad you are taking this step on the path to where you want to be. I provide individual therapy to people 16+. I named my practice Your Evolving Truth Therapies (YET Therapies) because where you are at right now does not have to be where you stay; there is a lot of power in the word YET! I am an identity-affirming and trauma-informed therapist. My areas of focus include life transitions, stress management, anxiety, depression, and grief and loss.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience in the Austin area helping parents and children overcome emotional and behavioral challenges. Services are provided in-home and in the community.
Some of my passions include working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folks. I enjoy working with individuals and couples. I have additional training on Emotion Focused Therapy allowing me to connect with attachment needs and help heal through establishing a secure attachment in relationships.

I am a Licensed Psychologist in Texas and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist who specializes in treating children, adolescents, and adults with social-emotional, behavioral, and educational needs. I received my Ph.D. in School Psychology from New York University in 2008 and completed an APA-approved clinical psychology internship at the Devereux Foundation in Pennsylvania. I have received training in both private and public school settings, outpatient settings, hospitals, and in specialized educational programs for children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. I participated in a Family and Multicultural Therapy program for two years at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City where I received supervised family therapy and multicultural competency-based training. In addition to my clinical work, I am an Assistant Professor in the School Psychology Program at Texas State University. My research seeks to understand and promote diversity and inclusion in educational settings. I am particularly interested in studying the development of and consequences associated with children’s social (e.g., gender stereotypes) and academic (e.g., growth mindset) cognitions. My research also involves developing and evaluating interventions to promote positive social and academic outcomes.

Hi! I'm Kelly (she/they). In the past, I've worked at hospices and crisis centers; I'm passionate about creating space to hold the heavy parts of life. My expertise lies in grief counseling, and I work with all different kinds of loss. I currently work in private practice, and I see both individuals and couples. I enjoy working with teens and young adults, queer and trans folx, and neurodivergent clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and existential dread.
After 15 years in tech marketing, I went to the University of Texas at Arlington to earn my Master's in Social Work. Upon graduation, I worked toward my clinical license at a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Program. Here, I worked with clients with severe mental health problems to find stability and gain the tools necessary to find success in life after program. This setting allowed me to work across the full spectrum of mental health issues, specifically with mood and personality disorders, trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, psychosis, and other high-acuity issues.
