Welcome! I’m Shey, an IFS-informed therapist who wishes to help you navigate the journey from unhealed trauma to meaningful personal growth. We don’t have to wait for a crisis to put on our own “oxygen masks.” I’ve learned the hard way how essential it is to care for ourselves first—nurturing our well-being so we can show up fully in our lives.
Hi! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with teens, young adults, and middle-aged adults on a variety of concerns, including anxiety, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I also have a special interest in supporting clients with eating disorders, body image, and body positivity, including HAES approaches, and offer family-based support when helpful. I aim to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported.
Asking for help or support can be scary. Making that step to get therapy takes a great deal of strength. Therapy gives people the opportunity to develop effective and healthy responses to life's stressors. I work to create a safe holding environment to allow you to feel comfortable being yourself. I work with clients to help them develop awareness over their behaviors, thoughts, patterns, and feelings. I like to get to the source rather than just focus on the symptoms.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with five years of experience in the mental health field, primarily working with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, OCD, and related challenges. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Waynesburg University and strive to make therapy a collaborative and comfortable experience.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable being yourself. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where you feel heard and understood, and I bring my authentic self into every session.
Connecting with me will be an authentic, genuine encounter that addresses your particular story with dedication and dignity.
I have a master's of social work degree from UPenn and love the functionality it brings to each scenario we live out. With sincerity we have a way up and out, furthering our growth from where you started

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Trauma Therapist with over 20 years of experience, I provide a compassionate, evidence-based approach to help individuals move beyond survival and reconnect with themselves. My work integrates the science of the brain and nervous system with practical, whole-person strategies that support lasting emotional healing.
I specialize in helping people recover from trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the emotional impact of serious illness, injury, or surgery. Rather than treating symptoms alone, I work collaboratively with clients to understand the root causes of their struggles while building resilience, emotional regulation, and self-compassion.

Clients often tell me that our work together helps them feel less overwhelmed, more self-aware, and better able to cope with life’s challenges. I strive to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and comfortable being yourself.
Some of the feedback that I received from clients are:
"You give me a perspective so I don’t get stuck and I realize I don’t have to solve it all at once
"You have forever affected how I look at things in a positive way"
"You changed how I look at things. I know I can do it, so I achieve it. The re-parenting thing gives me a way to understand people and myself."
"You help people be comfortable in their own skin."
I’ve been providing counseling since the 1990s. I hold a doctorate in Counseling Psychology. I’m also a tenured psychology professor. My clients tend to share certain worries and concerns that might best be summed up as feeling a sense of meaninglessness, being unproductive, and not relating well with others. I work with both individuals and couples. Among my clients are young adults trying to sort things out, medically compromised patients, adults waylaid by life and relationship transitions, and people struggling with anxiety and depression.
